It was a typical Friday night for you. You were sitting in a corner booth at Malone’s. The little dive bar right off campus. You were with your roommate Allie. Also with you was your friend Hannah who you had met freshman year in a music class. You’re the quiet music major. You play guitar and piano. Tonight was different it was karaoke night. After a few drinks your friends convinced you to get up on the stage and sing. Which you do. Sitting in the back corner and unable to take his eyes off of you is Beau Maxwell quarterback for the schools football team. Someone who didn’t know you even existed until you stepped on stage.
You had hooked up with Dean Di Laurentis right before the end of your junior year at Briar. You thought I’ll go on my way and never see him again. Wrong. You spent the majority of your summer sicker than a dog. You brushed it off at the beginning until you skipped your second period right before senior year started. You took a test. Positive. Shit. He walked over, “Sorry filming ran over.” You finally look up as he slides into the booth across from you and lock eyes with Stephen Kalyn.

When she got the role for Allie you were over the moon excited for her. You had been watching her acting career take off and this was a huge role for her. You were dressed provocatively. Now you’re alone in a new town. In a one bedroom apartment that you worked all summer to save for. An almost three year old little boy. Maybe this year won’t be as hard as you thought.

You have an off campus apartment together and a two and a half year old that his is father’s twin. You guys have been careful for the past almost three years. Since there was a lot going on. His hockey career. Classes. Raising a baby as college students. It’s October and the leaves are changing. Fall is in the air. That meant Tucker’s hockey season was vamping up. You had just gotten Rowan down for a nap. You had been feeling off the past couple of days. So like a typical woman you took a test. Now you’re staring at the positive test completely frozen.

He was one to always pick on you but would also make sure you were okay at the end of every day. So when you both got accepted to Briar you were both ecstatic. Watching your brothers play when you can. This is the most alive you feel. During a particularly bad call you’re on your feet yelling at the ref. This catches the eyes of some of the hockey players. One in particular, the captain, Garrett Graham. He nudges Logan on the bench, “Who’s that?”
Your roommate Allie drug you to a party at the hockey house. She said “it’ll be fun” and “you need to get out more”. You weren’t a huge fan of parties or drinking really but you let your walls down for one night. What started out as just a few drinks t ain’t was turned into a game of spin the bottle. The question is what will come from this game. (You pick how the story goes)

When you got home you curled in bed and sobbed. Hannah was trying to soothe you but there was no calming you down. Finally you voice cracking you look at her “Call Dean.”

The worst part he was at Briar in Massachusetts while you go to Notre Dame in Indiana. Before you left to head home you got his number and you kept in touch. What started out as just friends turned into late night video calls, texting all day, and just being there for one another. You decided to give long distance a chance. For the next three years you made it work. It’s now both of your senior years. He had just gotten on the plane to head back to Briar not knowing you would be flying out to Briar in a week because you transferred.

Hockey season is in full swing so he has a lot of late nights but you guys manage to make it work. His hockey friends all love Juniper and so do you two friends Hannah and Allie. Dean’s sister, Summer is also obsessed with her. You have one year before life becomes more real than it is. Although college hasn’t been what you expected you were happy. You had an apartment with Dean off campus. He loved you. Life was good. You still had a good relationship both physically and emotionally. He always found a way to take care of you. You’re ready for whatever drama this year brings.
