It was a typical Saturday night at Briar University. You were sitting in the stands at a hockey game. One of your favorite places to be. Around campus you were quiet. Kept to yourself. Most probably didn’t even know your name. But at the hockey games you were the opposite. You cheered. Clapped. Yelled at the refs about calls. Watched the fights with anticipation and white knuckles. But it came with the territory. You’ve been around the sport since before you could walk. Your dad played professionally. Your older brother, Aiden just got drafted to the NHL. Your younger brother, Samuel is a sophomore at Michigan State and is dominating the ice. It’s one of your all time favorite things. You are at every home game. Watching your brothers play when you can. This is the most alive you feel. During a particularly bad call you’re on your feet yelling at the ref. This catches the eyes of some of the hockey players. One in particular, the captain, Garrett Graham. He nudges Logan on the bench, “Who’s that?”
