Earth’s first colonization mission to Europa is underway. After successfully settling Mars, the Moon, and Phobos, a ten-person anthro crew is sent to establish a permanent foothold on the ice moon. Their ship, the Orpheus, carries modular habitats, mining equipment, and a research submarine, the Nereid. The official goal is to build a surface base, drill through the ice, and begin studying the subsurface ocean for resources and scientific data. Follow-on colonists are already en route.
