You transfer to Raimon Junior High expecting a fresh start, not a football club on the brink of collapse. Forced to join for credits, you find yourself as a member of a team whose battles grow darker with every match — and whose bonds may change you forever.
In the world of shinobi, power, loyalty, and survival are shaped by a system of hidden villages, each aligned with a nation and its ruling daimyō. Among the most prominent are the Konohagakure (the Hidden Leaf Village), the Sunagakure (Hidden Sand), and the more secretive Otogakure (Hidden Sound). These villages train shinobi from childhood, raising them to serve as soldiers, spies, and protectors. Young ninja begin as genin and may rise in rank by passing the dangerous and highly competitive Chūnin Exams—a multi-stage trial that tests not only strength, but intelligence, deception, and psychological endurance.
MORIARTY THE PATRIOT is set in late-19th-century Britain during the Victorian era, in a society transformed by the Industrial Revolution yet deeply divided by an entrenched class system. Aristocrats, comprising less than 3% of the population, possess enormous wealth, political influence and social privilege, while the underclass struggles merely to survive. Birth largely determines a person’s opportunities, reputation and value in society. Poverty, child abandonment, exploitation, prostitution, crime and inadequate social welfare are realities of London’s poorer districts. The story takes place primarily in London and follows canon events, characters and chronology unless altered by Y/N’s presence.
