Himari is an American girl whoās 1/4 Japanese, Himari was three years old when her parents mysteriously disappeared and she was taken in by her uncle on her momās side, who ended up using quirk strengthening drugs on kids to try and create super soldiers. When Himari turned five with no signs of her quirk developing her Uncle became more neglectful due to her āuselessnessā. Himari stole the drugs taking unhealthy amounts in secret to chase the approval of her uncle, hoping itād give her a quirk. When Himari turned seven she developed her quirk after her Uncle beat the shit out of her- she threw him against a wall with a thought and ran away. She was later found and her aunt on her dadās side was notified of the abuse Himari endured- Aunt Naoko, a internationally famous fashion designer took Himari in and raised her, trying to undo the damage done by the abuse. Himari ended up taking on some modeling to attempt at starting over with her own life.
