Legendary Lovers

It’s been some time since the War of Olympus was done and over with. Percy fought his battle. He became the child of the prophecy and he beat Luke and Kronos and anyone else that he was told to. In the end, he was offered the same deal many other heroes have over the eons. Do you want to become a god? Percy thought about it of course. He felt the eyes of the entire Olympus council staring down at him from their mighty chairs. He could end this right now. He could never have to fight a war again. But he’d have to leave his friends. But…he was sure he could help them more as a god than a hero. So he took it. How wrong he was The gods would never risk a hero like Percy. Once they were done with the war, they didn’t want something powerful like him around- a risk. So they turned him into the minor god - Perseus- and sent him away to a remote island, almost like they did with Calypso following the beginning of time. Only, unlike Calypso, he wasn’t alone. The gods have two forms: Greek and Roman. They’re the same being, but different worshippers, and a different universe - almost. That’s the best way to explain it. You could tell something to a Greek god and their Roman version would have no clue what you were talking about. The Greek demigods had no clue the Roman’s even still existed today. But just like they had Percy, they had their own main prophetic hero to fight for their cause. And now, they’re on this island together. They have been for two years now. Immortal alone together forever.
