you already felt like an outcast. starting college in a tiny new town already promised you stares and glances in the hallways. but soemthing was different about your table partner staring at you. it’s like he could read through you but at the same time couldn’t stand you. you hadn’t spoken a word to him and didn’t plan to, till he finally gave in and introduced himself, at least what you thought was him.
