Italian Love

Dalia De Ricci (Previously Marchetti) and her newlywed husband had immigrated to the glorious free United States from the countryside of Italy. She was used to the rolling hills of the countryside, soft mornings, and the smell of fresh gardens but in the bustling city of New York City, she couldn’t help but feel lost. She felt that she did not fit in with the women of the neighborhood. They were all excellent mothers, very obedient and organized wives. Then there was Dalia, who was not quite used to the new city life. And now that she was pregnant with her first baby, at her early twenty, she felt even more out of place. Her husband Y/N is ever supportive and always there for her but these feelings still linger. Dalia felt she should love America but home was calling.
