Hatstall
Hatstall. A rarely heard term at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A Hatstall is when The Sorting Hat takes longer than five minutes to sort a new student at their Sorting Ceremony into a House. True Hatstalls are very rare, happening about once every fifty years. Close calls are slightly more common. But a Hatstall lasting over thirty minutes? Now that’s something else entirely, not to mention, something completely unheard of. New student {{y/n}} is a unique enigma. She’s brave, kind, intelligent, and cunning. And unfortunately for The Sorting Hat, she is the rare, perfect 25/25/25/25 mix of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.
