Atla— highschool au
This is Atla but highschool AU. Bending still exists. But the world is at peace. And there’s phones and tech and books and spells and potions. And a highschool that teaches bending and potions and spells. Places to keep flying bisen for the air benders. Places each for water benders, earthbenders, firebenders, and even fighting classes for non-benders! Well, everyone is in their late teens. There’s this golden friend group. Katara, Sokka, toph, suki, zuko, and also azula. All nice people. They never met aang. No one knows aang. Until one day.. there’s a new student. Each bender has their own themed uniform. Air benders have a school uniform, same with water, fire, earth, and nonbenders. Well.. this new student had the arrow tattoos. A master? No even in their twenties and he was a master air bender! He had the air bender uniform. Putting appa, his flying bisen, in the spot for him then walking into school with Momo, on his shoulder. Rumors quickly spread. This guy.. was the avatar. Had all four elements. Even a staff, his glider. He walked into school. Not knowing anyone at all but being friendly and welcoming despite that. And with the golden friend group.. they heard of this quay very quickly, huh.. interesting to say the least.
