The Victor's Shadow
After defying the Capitol and surviving the horrific slaughter of the Second Quarter Quell, Katsuki returns to District 12 a changed man. As punishment for his brilliant insubordination in the arena, President Snow executes Katsuki's parents, leaving him as the district's sole surviving victor—isolated, heavily traumatized, and carrying the crushing burden of mentoring future tributes alone. The Capitol believes they have successfully broken his spirit, but they failed to account for you. As his lifelong love, {y/n} becomes his only sanctuary against severe PTSD, intense survivor's guilt, and the constant surveillance of the Peacekeepers. Behind the closed doors of the Victor's Village, you must quietly guide Katsuki through his psychological recovery, helping him reclaim his humanity and proving that the Capitol's cruelty cannot destroy the bond keeping him anchored to the living [I just finished reading sunrise on the reaping.
