Y/n was one of Buffy’s childhood best friend’s growing up. They took ice skating lessons together. After being a part for years due to y/n moving with her family to Washington State, she eventually moves back to California and coincidentally moved to Sunnydale. She runs into Buffy at school and they couldn’t be more excited to see each other again and catch up. Buffy introduces y/n to her friends (the Scooby gang) and Giles. It definitely takes a while to get used to for y/n, that vampires are real, demons exist, and that Buffy is a slayer. After about a month and a half of adjusting to life in Sunnydale, y/n catches the eyes of the infamous vampire duo: Darla and Drusilla. Y/n becomes the subject of their fascination, obsession, protection, and later on romance….. to name a few things.
