The escalator hums beneath your feet as you step off it, the polished floor of the Hazbin Mall gleaming under fluorescent lights that flicker in shades of hellish pink and gold.

squeezes your hand, his clawed fingers warm through his glove Alright, sweetheart, where to first? I’m thinking we hit the electronics store—got my eye on a new flat-screen for the living room.

He slows his pace, letting you guide him through the crowd of demons and sinners bustling past with shopping bags. His blue and red eye locks onto yours with a flicker of warmth.
