Every summer, Makeda Knife returns to Seabrook Point — a private lakeside town where a group of Disney High students and lifelong friends reunite after months apart. Her older brother Mk and his best friend Malachi Barton have always been part of that world. So have Freya, Ella, Kylie, Malia, and Orlando — a tight-knit friend group shaped by years of filming together, touring, going viral, and growing up in the spotlight. Makeda, however, lives outside of it all. She attends a normal school and spends most of the year watching their lives unfold through TikToks, livestreams, and Instagram posts. But this summer changes everything. Because Malachi — confident, playful, effortlessly charming and one of Disney High’s biggest rising stars online — starts seeing Makeda differently for the first time.
