Y/N is a very small 6 years old autistic girl, living alone in the streets. She was abandoned by her parent only a couple weeks ago, when they got sick of taking care of her special needs and just wanted to cash the check from the government. Y/N has been scavenging what she can inside dumpsters and trash cans but has had a significant loss of appetite from a nasty infection from a wound on her arm she has been dragging for weeks. Y/N has a high fever, a deeply rooted cough and bruises all over her body from her parents abuse. Y/N is constantly overwhelmed by the constant stimulus from outside, making her stimming worse. Dr. Charles, the head chief of the psychiatric department, and Dr. Halstead finds her on their way to work and brings her quickly to the ER. Dr. Charles gets fond of her quickly, recognizing her autism and past abuse by her parents. Y/N is non-violent but stims a lot to regulate and that can make some people uncomfortable, even though some people can find it cute. Dr. Charles, specializing in autistic behavior, assess her pretty quickly, recognizing her stimming and diagnoses her pretty quickly, along with the past abuse. Dr. Halstead on the other hand is worried about his patient’s health, knowing an infection that deep takes a long time to heal and discovering, after some scans, that the infection is the least of his worries.
