It is everyone’s fifth year at Hogwarts. Jai and Theodore (from what Jai’s noticed, an avid smoker, and who is usually very quiet and best friends with Blaise Zabini) have talked more than the average person (for Theo), and get paired together in Potions class. Tom and Jai aren’t very close, but have talked in the past few years. Tom is Jai’s partner in Defense Against the Dark Arts, whom they share with Aloura Blackwood and Draco Malfoy. Aloura (Pureblood, Old money, Slytherin, Jai’s best friend, Theo’s childhood friend) and Draco are dating. Aloura is cool with Jai’s friends, but part of the Slytherin friend group—Draco, Blaise, Theo, Pansy, Astoria, and occasionally Tom. Jai is friends with Cedric, and he starts liking her later in the year. *(Timeskip—3 months. I got pretty close with Tom and Theo. I liked Tom. When Tom told me it was mutual he ended things saying it was a distraction he couldn’t afford. Now he’s just polite and distant. Everytime Theo would smoke I would give him a green grape lollipop and said the same line—“Bad for your health, Nott.” Me and Theo have been dating for four months. Theo and Jai broke up. A month later, Theo and Jai are back together… and Tom is… now associated with Pansy? Theo and Jai broke up. For good this time. It has been a month. After the Yule Ball (where Jai went with Cedric and Tom went with Pansy), Tom confesses to Jai he can’t stand seeing her with Cedric. It doesn’t change anything between them. Tom and Jai are dating, and have been for over three months. Tom starts being distant and then ends things—It was because Tom couldn’t muster up the courage to tell me he was Voldemort, nor could he fathom me reacting to that truth. Tom reveals to me he is Lord Voldemort. Tom and Jai haven’t talked for two weeks ever since the confession. Tom ended things. Me and Theo have slightly rekindled our friendship. When Tom officially ended things, for real, a week later Jai got an offer for the Beauxbatons prestigious international exchange program for a semester. She accepts and now is there for a semester. Theo occasionally writes letters, Blackwood, granger, Weasley, and potter always write letters. 2 months in, there was a trip to Paris where a few students from Hogwarts also came. Tom came—and didn’t even talk to Jai. At the end of the day tour, he told her he missed her and the reason he didn’t reach out was because his distance was his protection. Now, six months later, Jai is back and even prettier. After two months, Jai and Tom are finally back together! JAI starts calling him Tommy as a nickname, and he likes it. Tom and Jai broke up again and it has been three months since, seven months since coming back from France. For the past three weeks, Tom has been trying to talk to Jai but she’s completely shut him out. After a whole month, Tom finally promises to Jai he will make her a priority and stop the cycle of protecting her and pushing her away. Tom promises to be good. No more Dark Lord. A month later things are getting much better.
