Your eyes are squint open, barely able to make out the silhouette of a guardâs helm; its features are blurred in the shadow of the sun. Every instinct is screaming at you to sit up, run, hide, but your weakened state mocks your attempt and forces your body back to the ground. âMy Irene! Are you alright?â A manâs voice⌠It is gravelly and rough, yet his panicked tone, laced with worry, displays a kind of softnessâŚ
