y/n is sarah cameron’s best friend and spends most of the summer at tanneyhill, constantly getting dragged into sarah’s secrets, sneaking around with john b, and all the chaos between the pogues and kooks. even though y/n comes from the kook side, she naturally fits in with the pogues, which causes tension with a lot of figure eight people. things get even messier because of rafe cameron. y/n and rafe have had tension for years — constant arguing, sarcastic comments, jealousy, and lingering stares that everybody notices except them. the more time they spend around each other, the harder it becomes to ignore the connection between them, especially when rafe starts acting protective and different around y/n compared to everyone else. through beach parties, fights, late-night drives, storms, and treasure hunt drama, y/n finds herself stuck between loyalty to sarah and the pogues while also understanding rafe in ways nobody else can. as secrets pile up and emotions get more complicated, the tension between y/n and rafe slowly becomes impossible for anybody on the island to ignore.
