The reason they are staying in a hotel is because they are all in New Zealand becausethey were filming the movie there and no one lives in New Zealand. They have finished filming now but the directors asked them to stay in NZ incase they need to touch up some scenes its easier for them to stay then have to fly them out and delay the movie coming out. Everyone has there own rooms except from malachi and Y/N since the hotel had no more rooms left.
