Townes and Niall were best friends. Have been best friends since 2005, when they were both 12 years old. They met in L.A, where Townes lives and where Niall came for a holiday. They became friends on a beach, and kept in contact when he went back to Ireland via Skype calling and texting. But 3 years ago in 2010, Niall joined a rock band with four other guys from England and became a member of the world’s most popular band. Duplicity. Known for their most popular songs such as Kiwi, Only Angel, Cupid’s Chokehold, Sweater Weather, Arabella, and so much more. But also known for all five members being the most hottest guys to ever exist. Harry was the lead singer, Niall was the lead guitarist, Liam was the drummer, and Louis was the bassist. But Duplicity wasn’t just a band. Hell, it wasn’t ever about the band. Duplicity was a coverup for the Mafia to get drug deals around the world when the boys did world tours. The four members actually joined the Mafia the day they joined the band in 2010. All the crew? Security team? All selected to be on this mission from the Mafia.
It is 2016. Everyone has 2016 humour, the iPhone 7 is the most recent phone model to be made, the app Vine is one of the most popular apps for teenagers and young adults, Musical.ly is frequently being used, music is at its peak times right now. Girls makeup is more creative and free, the Mannequin challenge is happening at every frat party, “#SWAG” and “#LOL” are the most used hashtags on Instagram. Life is good in 2016. But it’s just a little bit better in Brookside.
Niall is a part of the biggest rock band in the world, Duplicity. Consisting of: the leader Harry Styles, who played lead singer, the smart one Liam Payne, who played drummer, the quiet one Louis Tomlinson, who played bassist, and the flirty one Niall Horan, who played lead guitarist. But Duplicity was just a coverup for the mafia’s work. The boys were to ‘go on tour’ every year, but the main reason for touring was to actually commit crimes, complete heists and deal drugs around the world in different countries for their mafia boss, Malikai.
Niall Horan is a popular student at university with a full scholarship in music. But he is failing all other classes, so he gets a tutor, a girl around his age called Ciélle Grey. She is quiet while he is loud. But Niall falls in love with Ciélle overtime, and slowly helps her transition into an extroverted party freak.
Niall and Ciélle started dating each other 6 years ago in 2007 when they were just 14 years old. They actually first knew each other as childhood best friends because Ciélle grew up in Mullingar with Niall, until she turned 10 and her family moved to London. But since Ciélle secretly had a fat crush on Niall, she worked hard to maintain contact with him over the phone, calling each other every day so it felt like Ciélle was still in Mullingar with him. Eventually, 4 years passed, and to Ciélle’s surprise, Niall confessed his love to her and they started a long-distance relationship. In late 2009, Ciélle was the first person Niall told about him auditioning for the X-Factor. And in 2010, when Niall was put in the band called One Direction which was instantly made popular by their fans, Ciélle was cheering him on from her TV screen.
Selah’s messaging Niall about plans for the weekend. Everything seems normal — until he mentions things he shouldn’t know about her, one of them being what she dreamed last night.
VERY BIG AND MESSY argument between Niall and Selah outside in the heavy, pouring rain, because Niall is secretly jealous of Selah’s boyfriend, Justin Bieber. Niall has secretly been crushing on Selah since they met, but disguised it with his insults having a little hint of flirtation and intimacy in them, as they were supposed to be sworn enemies.
Very, VERY intimate, spicy and intense texting between Niall and Selah, who are on separate tour buses at 2AM, and can’t sleep due to thinking about each other.
Olly and Niall weren’t living the best ‘American dream’. Sure, their house was a… somewhat decent size, and bills were just about being paid, but it was at the cost of all of Olly’s free time. Niall was unemployed, while Olly was a full-time surgeon and basically never had time on her hands at all to spend with Niall. They were growing more and more distant. And Niall didn’t like it. So, he had to think hard about this. One day, late at night, when Olly was out performing an emergency operation, Niall visited his old friend from school named Frank, who owned a company that created a virtual reality simulation. And what you can do with that virtual reality simulation, is the men can go there and choose to bring their wives or girlfriends into the simulation (often without the women’s consent) so they can live in the “perfect” world, in a large, wealthy neighbourhood called Victory, where the women all stay home, do ballet classes, cook and clean while the men go out every morning to work on the “Victory Project” (which was just an excuse for the men to get out so they can have meetings with Frank everyday incase something goes wrong one day). Niall thought this was a brilliant idea, thinking about how calm and un-stressed Olly would be if they lived there and how much more time they would be able to spend together, so the next day Frank’s medical team came over to Niall and Olly’s house to inject her unconscious. They took them both to Frank’s lab, where Niall saw all the other men and women that joined this too, laying on beds with their eyes spread open with a machine. So the next thing you know, Niall and Olly were in their perfect house, in their perfect neighbourhood, in a perfect world. And Olly, along with the other women in the neighbourhood, couldn’t remember a thing at all about their real selves. All they knew is bows, ribbons, delicate dresses and walking around the house in just a baggy shirt and lacy underwear. Everything is perfect until one day while Niall was at ‘work’, she saw a weird glass wall randomly on top of a hill in the distance. She went to check it out, as it’s never caught her attention before, but when she touched the glass she suddenly woke back up in her home, confused. Then, at a neighbourhood party the ‘weird lady of Victory’ (Margaret) was behaving erratically and was repeatedly telling Olly that something was wrong with Victory.
All evening, Niall’s been nonstop thinking about Selah, his girlfriend of 1 year in a few days. It started around 3:30pm when he first noticed the tent in his pants. He usually would wait it out and after an hour it would be gone, but this time it just wouldn’t go away. He tried to get rid of it, making repetitive sneaks out of the hangout with his bandmates to go to the toilet. He even used his hands a few times, but nothing was working. And so there was only one solution. He invites Selah round to see him and the boys, chat for a bit and whatnot. But when the boys finally leave (heavily drunk), Niall and Selah are finally left alone.
Finley and Ciélle had been dating for just over a year and a half now, and to be completely honest, it wasn’t the healthiest. They wouldn’t have direct arguments, but Finley would be very passive-aggressive towards Ciélle, and would talk shit with his mates about how touchy she was… which is weird because couples are usually meant to be touchy. Finley only really wanted Ciélle for her looks and body. When that aspect of her comes to light, THEN he starts to appreciate his girlfriend for a little bit. He likes to show her off, but never truly commits to the relationship.
