That plan falls apart almost immediately when he meets his next-door neighbor, Sadie. Warm, energetic, and endlessly friendly, Sadie welcomes the new resident with a homemade pie and an enthusiasm that Ikaris finds both confusing and exhausting. Despite their clashing personalities, the two neighbors find themselves constantly crossing paths, leading to unexpected friendships, neighborhood adventures, and plenty of humorous misunderstandings. As Ikaris struggles to adapt to ordinary human life, Sadie slowly helps him discover the value of community, friendship, and the simple moments he has spent centuries overlooking. What begins as an unlikely neighborly relationship soon becomes a heartfelt story about connection, growth, and finding a place to belong.
