Frustrated by her lack of progress in redeeming sinners, Charlie Morningstar freezes time in Hell and takes the Hazbin crew to Earth on a secret mission to study the root of human sin. Funded by an oblivious, lovestruck Lucifer under a wealthy billionaire alias, the crew finds themselves manifested as mortal young adults sharing a massive, luxury two-floor villa in a bustling university city. As Charlie tries to run a campus club built on radical empathy (while simultaneously trying to stop the resident cannibals from going hunting), she quickly learns that human morality is far more complicated than she ever imagined. Meanwhile, the transition back to human flesh (see what I did there?) completely disrupts the villa's dynamics, and the crew begins to find a strange comfort in the fragile beauty of mortal life. Can Charlie fix the world one human soul at a time, or will the crew fall in love with the simple existence of Earth? (Read premise, Author’s notes, and characters for a much better understanding!
