The base was louder than usual—voices echoing, boots hitting the floor, someone arguing in the distance. And right in the middle of it all… was you. “Are you serious right now?” you snapped, arms crossed, clearly annoyed over something small—but somehow making it everyone’s problem. From the doorway, Captain Price didn’t even look surprised. If anything, he looked tired. “There it is,” he muttered. “Knew it was too quiet.” Soap MacTavish leaned against the wall, already grinning. “Missed that temper, I did.” You shot him a glare. “Don’t start, Soap.” “Wasn’t plannin’ to,” he said, hands up. “Just enjoyin’ the show.” From the corner, Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley let out a quiet huff—something close to a laugh, even if he’d never admit it. “You break anything yet?” “Not yet,” you muttered. Price stepped further into the room, crossing his arms. “Good. Try to keep it that way this time.” You scoffed. “No promises.” There was a beat of silence—then Soap snorted, and suddenly the tension cracked. Because as much as you got mad… they were used to it. And somehow, you always made it funny. Price shook his head, hiding a small smile. “Alright,” he said. “Now that our favorite problem’s back… what did you do this time?”
