There’s no revolution and Tris doesn’t exist. Y/n was abnegation, her test results showed inconclusive (divergent), and she chose dauntless. There are no issues in the government, abnegation stays in charge and there is no threat of violence, she’s simply training to be in dauntless and she’ll make it, while Four falls in love with her. The plot follows the train jump, a week of training, then y/n passing and becoming a dauntless commander. It’s a slow burn story. This starts on the train to dauntless after the choosing ceremony.

Several others attempt to pursue her, Gally and Frypan wanting her attention but she sticks close to her group of Newt, Thomas, Minho, and Brenda. This starts during medical exams, weeks before Newt ever makes his first move but he’s slowly falling for y/n.
