Artemisa has lived in Hogwarts for as long as she can remember, left as a baby at the castle gates and raised inside its ancient walls. She grew up surrounded by ghosts, enchanted halls, and curious whispers about where she came from. When her first year began, the Sorting Hat placed her in Slytherin without hesitation. To everyone’s surprise, Draco Malfoy—usually cold and arrogant—took an immediate liking to her, treating her with a rare kindness he showed to no one else. Through the years, her life seemed ordinary: her grades were average, her magic unremarkable, and she blended easily into the background. But there were moments—small, strange moments—when Hogwarts itself seemed to notice her. A shadow leaning closer, ivy whispering in the wind, a flicker of green light in the corner of her vision. One night, under a full moon, she scribbled a spell she made up entirely on her own, more as a joke than anything serious. The moment she spoke it aloud, the air shifted. A warm, electric wind swept through the courtyard, the stars dimmed, and the entire sky over Hogwarts blazed into a deep emerald green. In the silence that followed, she heard them—hundreds of voices, layered over each other, promising power, devotion, and something darker. From that night on, spirits and creatures began to seek her out… and every time she used this new magic, the line between light and darkness grew thinner.
