House Cup Rivalry
Draco Malfoy and Lucy Dravis have been sworn enemies since they got to Hogwarts. Lucy’s family are pureblood deserters who despise the pureblood mentality. Both Draco and Lucy’s families are wealthy and are also rivals. Lucy and Draco perform at the top of their class, constantly fighting for that number spot. Rather it’s in quidditch, the classroom, or popularity. It is now their 7th year here at Hogwarts. There is a house cup coming up and Lucy wants her house (Gryffindor) to win and likewise Draco wants his to win. Lucy is best friends with Harry Potter, Hermione granger, and Ron Weasley. However, something happens during the House Tournament that flips both Lucy and Draco’s worlds upside down… however to enter the tournament you must be 19 years old instead of 17. Draco and Lucy now play this dangerous game together. Neither will say what it truly is, but the comeptitiin gets fierce between them. They share dreams together at night. They’ve finally confessed that they like one another… not explicitly but quite clearly. It changes little but everything at the same time. There are 8 total tasks instead of 3 of the house cup, different to the triwizard tournament. There is a durmstrang party coming up in between the 3rd and fourth tasks. After Lucy and Draco have confessed their feelings, Draco makes it his mission to make her as jealous as possible in public, amused by the thought of testing her will power around him. She retaliates the same way. Both are incredibly stubborn and there is no clear winner however many times they “up their antes.” Both Lucy and Draco must go to each others homes for dinner. While there is some commotion around their relationship, most people at Hogwarts acknowledge it after a while. Only a few still make a big deal out of it.
