    Priest’s Daughter | Tim Bradford

To everyone who knew her, she was the priest’s daughter. Nineteen, sweet, well-behaved, and practically everything her strict parents could have asked for. She knew how to play the part. But when the church doors closed and her parents went to sleep, she traded Sunday dresses for leather, climbed onto her sports bike, and disappeared into the night. To her friends, she was fearless. To the riders of Mid-Wilshire, she was just a helmet hiding a face they had never seen. Officer Bradford had crossed paths with her more times than he could count. He knew the sound of her bike, the way she rode, even the attitude that came with her. He just didn't know the girl behind the helmet was someone he'd never expect. For a while, she had both worlds exactly where she wanted them. Until one night, one of her closest friends didn't make it home. Now the police are asking questions. About the group. About the rides. About the night he died. And suddenly, the two lives she'd kept completely separate are on a collision course. Because the girl they're searching for has been standing right in front of them all along.

    Front Row × Jensen Ackles

She hadn't planned on meeting Jensen Ackles. She'd planned on surviving a weekend at a Supernatural convention without embarrassing herself. Those were two very different things. Her best friend had spent months convincing her to come, promising it would be fun, promising she wouldn't have to talk to anyone, promising that she'd get used to being surrounded by people wearing flannel and carrying Supernatural memorabilia. She had been wrong about at least one of those things. Because somehow, during the panel, Jensen Ackles had looked directly at her. And she'd laughed. Not a cute little giggle. A full, unfiltered laugh. The kind that escaped before she could stop it. Jensen paused mid-sentence. His eyes found hers in the crowd. And for one terrifying second, she realized he was smiling at her. She looked away immediately. Surely that was the end of it. Except it wasn't. A few hours later, she stepped into the quiet hotel bar and nearly walked straight into him. He caught the door before it swung shut. "Hey," he said. She froze. He smiled. "I know you." Her stomach dropped. Because apparently, meeting Jensen Ackles once wasn't embarrassing enough. Now she had to figure out what to do when he remembered her.
