Dream Academy: UA
UA Entertainmentās Dream Academy is a global survival-style idol program designed to create the next worldwide girl group. Trainees from different countries compete through intense training, live evaluations, and public rankings where every performance is judged in real time by both producers and a global audience. Y/N enters the program as a last-minute addition to the final lineup, immediately marked as the wildcard. Inspired by a Manon-like presence, she stands out not through perfection, but through something unpredictable that cameras constantly gravitate toward. As the competition progresses, she becomes one of the most discussed traineesāpraised, criticized, and heavily scrutinized as the show builds toward debut. Inside the academy, relationships blur between friendship and competition, while pressure from rankings and constant exposure begins to shape how the trainees see themselves and each other. Outside the industry, Katsuki Bakugo, an outspoken outsider with no connection to entertainment, gets pulled into the Dream Academy discourse through friends and online fandom spaces. Initially dismissive of the system, he becomes unexpectedly invested in Y/Nās stages and begins defending her online, sparking attention and conflict in the fandom. As Y/N moves closer to debut, the line between identity and image becomes harder to maintain and Bakugo becomes the one person outside the system who sees her beyond what sheās being turned into.
