a face in the crowd
Before millions worshipped his voice, he was just a drifter in an Arkansas jail cell. Discovered by ambitious radio producer Y/N, Larry “Lonesome” Rhodes uses his raw, homespun charm to launch a meteoric rise from local airwaves to national television stardom. But behind the blinding glare of the studio lights, their electric partnership curdles into a toxic, high-stakes psychological romance. As Lonesome morphs into a dangerous, power-hungry demagogue, Y/N faces the ultimate moral reckoning: remain complicit in his dangerous new empire, or pull the plug on the media monster she loved and created.
