😓|| Y/N was dating Sodapop Curtis for a couple years. Y/N was used to his brothers and his friends. Everyone had gotten along. Everyone was used to Y/N and Sodapop always hanging out together. It was normal. But what Y/N didn't know, is that Soda was cheating on her for about a month already. Soda would be hanging out with Y/N, then as soon as he got home, he'd sneak out and go with another girl. Nobody knew, except for Darry Curtis. Soda had accidentally blurted it out not to long ago to him, and Soda begged him not to tell anybody else. Darry would sometimes yell at Soda to tell Y/N already, but Sodapop just couldn't. He couldn't. He regretted ever growing close to Y/N's best friend. He'd feel guilty at the thought of both of them.

|| y/n is Ponyboy Curtis's twin sister. her older brothers are Darry Curtis and Sodapop Curtis. y/n was always the forgotten sibling after their parents passed. Ponyboy was the smart one, Sodapop was the one with looks, and Darry was basically the protective parent now. but y/n didn't have a label. she wasn't smart or protective. She was real pretty, but apparently not pretty enough to get attention from her siblings or the gang. she's always just.. there. in the corner, or just not even in the same room at all. All y/n does is go to school, walk home, hide in her room, do homework, and head to bed. sometimes darry forgets shes there, and doesn't make her dinner. y/ns used to it, though. she has been. its never a surprise when they leave her out. They ignore her, even when she has something serious to say. Every Conversation she has, ends with a: "Not right now, I'm Busy."

Y/n had been the only girl in the greaser group, and it was her safe place. She could go to them whenever, and hang out when needed. She'd always steal something from the store with Two-Bit, or go down to The Dingo with the whole group while Darry was out working. She was having fun, despite the problems with the Socs. The group would tease her, she'd tease back. She was always protective over everyone, and was there when someone was feeling down. They trusted her. Until, a girl came around. Madelyn Simons. She was a greaser. The group welcomed her in after about a week of being unsure, but after about two months of hanging out with her, it's like she took y/n's spot. The boys pay more attention to Madelyn now. Two-Bit steals from stores with her, and they go down to The Dingo with Madelyn instead of Y/n. Sure, they hang out with y/n too, but whenever Madelyn comes around, they act like y/n doesn't exist.

Soon after Sandy had left Sodapop, you had become friends with the greaser gang. You were close with all of them. You had spent months with them, until Sandy decided to come back like nothing. Sodapop had forgiven Sandy, and immediately got back together with her. Sandy, almost instantly, started to fake horrendous acts, such as fake injuries and making everyone obey here because she was pregnant and "delicate." The gang was definitely not happy with Soda, given the fact that the baby wasn't even his. Sandy was more than likely way more jealous when you were around, there was no doubt. If Sandy hadn't been pregnant, you and gang probably would've jumped her by now. God, she wanted to just make your life a miserable, living hell. She'd push and insult you, or accuse you of the worst things that you'd never actually do. You just couldn't stand it. But she was at it again, today.

Y/n had moved to New York for about two years after living her whole life in Tulsa. It was a hard move, and y/n didn't even have a chance to tell the gang where she was going, or when she'd be back. All they knew, was that she was moving. Y/n is a greaser, and is a part of the gang. She's there for them, jokes around with them, makes fun of them, literally everything. She's super comfortable with them, and they're super comfortable with her. It was miserable for those two years in New York. She had to get enrolled in a new school, get a part-time job, and she was definitely the one sticking out from everybody. I mean, she was still a greaser, duh. But it all paid off in the end, and y/n was finally back.

read the story for more context || y/n is seventeen, and is siblings with the Curtis brothers. shes the only girl in the gang, which makes some of them want to be protective towards her. she can handle her own, but darry can still see that fragile, precious look in her eyes. the same look she had when she was ten, and struggling with school work. even if he was only a few years older, he still noticed it. the way her eyes stared at a wall when overthinking about something she shouldn't be. the others did too, and once they notice it, their teasing and jokes die down a bit in their throats. it turns down a notch, but in the end, y/n always ends up laughing or teasing somebody else. and that is what makes her brothers seem protective of her. they just want to see her smile. they've always had a soft spot in their heart, just reserved for their sister.

Y/n is very close with the greaser gang. They tell everything to each other. Y/n always hangs out with them, and is literally everywhere they go. They'd steal somethings from stores together,go down to the Diner, or just go to the lot. Johnny is especially close to y/n. Y/n is basically like Johnny's mother figure, but better. Johnny calls y/n: "Mama" sometimes. He fully trusts her with everything he has left in his soul, and y/n is always taking care of him. Whether a Soc jumped or cut him, or he just got a scratch, y/n's always there, helping him. Y/n sometimes likes to pick up Johnny and spin him around, and Johnny's always full of giggles and laughter when she does it. Y/n always protects Johnny to the best of her abilities. She doesn't care if she has to end up dead in an alley somewhere. If it's needed to save Johnny, she'll do it. Johnny always comes to y/n for help with school, family problems, or if he's just feeling really down.

If they couldn't hang out, one would always say: "I miss ___." They would be a perfect couple, everyone knew that. The others would tease the two, saying that they should just get together already. And soon, y/n started developing feelings for Sodapop. She liked him- No. Loved him. Entirely. Whenever Soda would playfully flirt with y/n, her heart did a little flip. (just pretend like phones are a thing in this time) Y/n is very close with the greasers. She was trying to text everybody all at once one day, but she accidentally created a group chat with the gang. The groupchat wasn't supposed to keep getting daily messages, it was just supposed to be an accident and die down. But it didn't. And now, that groupchat is more alive than Mr and Mrs Curtis. Everyone texts in it. They tease eachother in it, say who's totally hot and attractive, or just say random things just to piss eachother off. Whenever there's a typo, Two-Bit is the first to notice it. He'll start flaming the person who misspelled the word, and start cussing them out for no reason. (It's mostly Sodapop who misspells)
