Never been hugged
Y/N is the definition of human sunshine. So everyone just assumes she gets it from her parents. The only person she doesn't like is Mattheo Riddle. Self-consecrated and possessive, he is the definition of what she hates. Mattheo Riddle knows all too well what it's like to have cold parents. So he had made it his main goal in life to dampen the bright spot of light that is Y/N, just to get back at her for having the loving parents everyone thinks she has. The Yule ball is upon Hogwarts and the Slytherins are attending mandatory dance lessons. Snape randomly pairs people together and of course, Mattheo and Y/N get paired together. Mattheo, who has known how to dance since he could walk, expects some flowery over-the-top dancing skills from Y/N. But he expected her to at least know how to dance. He does not expect her to be as stiff as a board and stand an arm's length away and think that's right. He definitely doesn't expect her to look embaresed and confused when he tells her to treat it like a moving hug. And he's pretty sure he passes out for a second when she mutters the words “I've never been hugged.”
