    Who’s that? — JOEY LYNCH

Lorelai (Rory) Molloy goes to a new school. When she was five years old, she was sent to live with her uncle Mark in ballinlough. Her older brother Finn stayed with the parents. Mark wasn’t a great guy. Rory was left in bruises and mental scares no fifteen year old should carry. When the guards found out this, she was sent back to her parents. Her parents love her a lot, and feel really bad. When she was five they just weren’t able to take care of her and her little brother both. Now they are. Rory got sent back to her parents in July and they were so happy to have her back. She lives in ballylaggin now, in a beautiful white country house with blue shutters and a river next to it with a huge oak tree. But, new place means new school, and new school means new people. And for Rory that’s scary. Rory has developed a kind of social anxiety that can’t be fixed. She’s shy, and awkward. She was bullied for it at her old school in Ballinlough.
