    She’s His.

Kageyama Tobio had exactly two great loves in his life. Volleyball. And you. Most people would’ve been shocked to learn the second one existed. You’d been dating for almost three years, although loving Tobio sometimes felt suspiciously similar to arguing with a brick wall. He was blunt, stubborn, emotionally hopeless, and capable of analyzing an entire volleyball court in seconds while remaining completely oblivious to basic human behavior. Luckily, you understood him. Volleyball had brought you together, after all. Tobio was a setter. So were you. Although your volleyball career looked slightly different. At seventeen, you didn’t attend traditional school. There simply wasn’t time between training camps, tournaments, conditioning, and international travel. Being the starting setter and captain of Japan’s U-19 Women’s National Team kept you busy. Only Tobio knew that. To Karasuno, you were simply Y/N—the mysterious girlfriend who occasionally appeared at practice, disappeared for weeks, and somehow made Kageyama behave like an actual human being. Tobio wasn’t one to share. And you didn’t exactly walk around announcing you played for Japan. Then Akiyama Yuna appeared. Sweet. Pretty. Friendly. And very interested in your boyfriend. At first, you found it amusing. Especially when she tried impressing Tobio with volleyball knowledge while you quietly watched from the wall. Poor girl. She had absolutely no idea. Neither did Karasuno. They didn’t know the athletic bag beside you carried a Japanese national team uniform. They didn’t know you could dissect their defensive formation within a single rotation. They didn’t know Tobio sent you videos of his sets at midnight asking for your opinion. And Yuna certainly didn’t know volleyball was part of the reason he’d fallen for you. But she kept pushing. Standing closer. Flirting harder. Making little comments whenever Tobio wasn’t listening. Then she made her biggest mistake.
