Mike Wheeler has always been a normal guy. He gets good grades, goes to church every Sunday, and’s a Wheeler. The only “weird” thing about him is that he never stares at his cheerleader girlfriend during practice. He’s staring at the football players as if his life depends on it. And he never enjoys making out with his girlfriend, he also has this huge Obi-Wan poster in his locker. Maybe he isn’t such a normal guy. Maybe he’s different. In a way, no boy should be different.
You and your best friend Anthony have always been together. Nobody in your small Midwest town was already your age except him. So you two naturally clicked. But you are total opposites. He’s the football captain and a total extrovert. You’re…basic. You get average grades, you’re kinda introverted, and you blended in with the crowd. But there is one thing about you. Something you don’t want anyone to know. Something that would get you kicked out and disowned. The church calls it a sin. But you can’t stop looking at Anthony. You get “disgusting” thoughts about him. You try to hide it. You really do. But it all blows up one night, when you and Anthony are sitting on the sidewalk out front of a gas station with sodas after one of Anthony’s big games.
