Who would have thought the man you met in san diego would turn into your whole world. Marrying into the military you heard about the lonely holidays and rare phone calls. Except when something you never expected or wanted to happen. Happens. you just find out you’re pregnant. Your husband? Thousands of miles away. Currently operating as a navy commander on base in the middle east. You have been married for 4 year now. Shortly after you guys got married he went on deployment for 5 months, during that time he was promoted. Being able to come back for a short time before having to go back overseas to be head of joint special operations. it’s really unsure when he is going to be back. You have to figure out how to call him and tell him. How you are going to handle everything. Your career is starting to be demanding and so is his. Worrying you that he might not be there. Having the village that you have makes the time go buy easier, People hoping in before you can even help. His biggest worry is the same thing. His team is closing in on a big mark right as you hit 6 months. Making ya’ll nightmares reality. right when you need him most the calls are shorter and very few. He starts to feel the pressure when the week the op is supposed to happen. You start to dilate. The race against time… who will win?
