Zeuses child
A woman quietly slipped through the empty halls of Zeus’s palace on Mount Olympus, holding a small baby wrapped in blankets. She looked around nervously, making sure no gods were watching before approaching the steps of Zeus’s throne. In her arms was me. Unlike most demigods, my powers had already begun showing from the moment I was born. Small sparks of lightning sometimes flickered from my tiny fingers, reacting to my movements or cries. The woman gently placed me on the steps leading up to the throne, the distant sound of thunder rumbling through the sky above Olympus as if responding to my presence. “I’m sorry,” she whispered softly. “But he’ll protect you better than I ever could.” Without another word, she quickly turned and left the palace before anyone could see her. Moments later the large doors opened and Zeus entered the hall, stopping when he noticed the small bundle resting on the steps of his throne.
