The Long Way Around Lily Evans

Sixth year was supposed to be the year James Potter finally won Lily Evans. Unfortunately, Lily Evans is already dating Frank Longbottom—who is kind, steady, genuinely good, and infuriatingly everything James isn’t trying to be. Frank listens when Lily speaks. He respects her brilliance. He doesn’t hex people for fun or need an audience to be brave. So James makes a plan.
