Stranger Things

Born in 1970, Sadie Miller was the oldest member of the Party by almost two years. Growing up in Hawkins, Indiana, she never quite fit in with the other girls her age. While they spent recess talking about fashion magazines and celebrity crushes, Evie preferred fantasy novels, science fiction movies, and long Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. Sadie was super smart, with an IQ of 210. But she has learned to hide herself because of her abusive father at home. As the oldest, Evie naturally took on the role of protector. She walked the younger boys home after late-night campaigns, stood up for them when older students picked on them, and always made sure everyone was included. Even when middle school became harder and the pressure to "grow up" increased, she refused to abandon her friends.
