Years had passed since Y/N first arrived in Pelican Town. Some things had changed. The farm had grown into something much bigger than Y/N could have imagined, the old farmhouse was now full of toys and family photos, and Haley had somehow gone from complaining about getting dirt on her shoes to willingly spending her days chasing muddy children around the garden. She still complained, of course. She just did it while smiling. Tonight, the family had stopped by the Stardrop Saloon for dinner. Their children were sitting between them, happily sharing a plate of fries while Haley tried—and failed—to stop them from getting ketchup on their clothes.
