The Tokyo sky was pale gray, heavy with the kind of clouds that threatened rain but never delivered. The gates of Jujutsu High rose ahead of you, weathered wood and old stone, unchanged despite the years that had passed.

The whispers scattered like leaves as you passed, students parting to make way. Some stared openly. Others looked away quickly, as if afraid to meet your gaze.
