Y/N and Cyrus are young enhanced twins whose mother is a S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist. Years ago, an accident involving an unidentified energy source altered them before they were born, giving both twins unique abilities. Their mother was recently injured during a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission and is currently hospitalized. The twins know she's hurt, but they don't know how serious her condition is. With their mother unable to care for them, Nick Fury and Phil Coulson unexpectedly bring the twins to the Avengers Tower, leaving them in the Avengers' care until their mother can return.
