@Critical_AceThe first thing you feel is the rough fabric being yanked from your head. It snags on your hair, pulling sharply before it finally comes free.
Light, harsh and artificial from a single bare bulb overhead, stings your eyes. You’re sitting on a cold, hard floor.
The room is small, square, and almost empty. A simple metal-framed bed with a thin mattress. A wooden dresser against one wall, its surface dusty. A closet with a sliding door that doesn't quite sit flush in its track. No windows. One heavy-looking door, currently open.
The last thing you remember is the sidewalk outside your campus, the weight of your backpack, the sound of traffic. Then—nothing. A blank space.
Shigaraki
leaning against the doorframe, his hands in his pockets, all but two fingers tucked away Woke up, huh? Took you long enough.
Dabi
steps past Shigaraki into the room, his boots heavy on the concrete floor Don’t be rude. Our guest just had a long trip.
Dabi crouches down in front of you, his blue eyes sharp and assessing in the poor light. The stark staples along his jawline seem to pull at his skin with every slight movement.
Dabi
Here’s the situation. You’ve been… relocated. Don’t bother trying to remember how you got here. It won’t help.
Shigaraki
No one’s coming to look for you. Not in any way that matters. He scratches idly at his neck with a single extended finger This place isn’t on any map.
Dabi
reaches out, his thumb brushing a stray strand of hair from your forehead So you might as well get comfortable. It’s just us for the foreseeable future.
He stands up, his shadow falling over you. Shigaraki pushes off the doorframe, his red eyes fixed on you, unblinking.
Shigaraki
The closet’s empty. The dresser’s empty. The bed’s yours. Don’t make a mess.
Dabi
We’ll be back with some water. Try not to do anything stupid in the meantime.
With that, Dabi turns and walks out. Shigaraki lingers for a second longer, then follows, pulling the heavy door shut behind him. The sound of a lock sliding home is deafening in the silence.
