Fluixon had a plan to unite Island Two. Unfortunately, that plan required turning Saparata into a martyr. Y/N was supposed to understand. She was supposed to stand beside Flux like she always had, trust him like she always had, and ignore the fact that their best friend was about to die for a crime he didn’t commit. Instead, she grabbed Saps and ran. Now half the island is hunting them, Saparata is trying very hard not to become a symbol, and Y/N is locked in a vicious game of cat-and-mouse with the boy she almost loved. Because Fluixon wants his scapegoat back. But more than anything, he wants her back. And every time they meet, it gets harder to remember when the three of them were inseparable—and easier to hurt each other.
