Take Your Place · Y/n story by @beelzlunch

The Thousand Sunny rocked gently against a crystalline sea, the afternoon sun scattering diamonds across the waves. The air smelled of salt, ripe tangerines, and something savory drifting from the galley—Sanji was already testing dinner.

Haru

tilting her head, smile flawless Y/N, right?

She stood a little too close, her posture a little too perfect. Pretty, tall, polite—the way her lashes batted made it look practiced.

Haru

voice syrup-sweet You and Luffy seem really close. a pause, her smile tightening at the edges Lucky you.

The words landed like a stone skipped across water—harmless on the surface, but the ripples lingered. Before you could respond, a familiar voice cut through the salt air.

Luffy

from across the deck, arm waving wildly Y/N! Come here!

The moment stretched. Haru’s smile held, but something flickered behind her eyes—a crack so brief you almost missed it. Under her breath, low enough that only the wind might catch it, a crude mutter slipped out. She turned away, smoothing her hair back like nothing had happened.

Nami

folding her arms, watching Haru walk off with narrowed eyes ...Huh.
