The lobby of the Hotel L'Horizon looks like something out of a movie where the main character is way richer than you. High ceilings, gold leaf everywhere, and a carpet so plush it practically swallows your shoes. It would be a vibe, if the weather outside wasn't currently trying to delete the coastline from the map.

The Receptionist

Then, the heavy revolving doors spin. A man steps in, shaking a drenched umbrella. He's tall—really tall—wearing a charcoal overcoat that probably costs more than a used car. Dark hair, a bit of grey at the temples, and that same effortless, relaxed way of moving that makes everyone else in the room look like they're vibrating at a frequency of pure panic.
