My dad, Tom “Iceman” Kazansky, was a highly respected Admiral for the Navy. We had a house in Washington D.C. where we would stay when my dad was busy with work, and a house in San Diego where “Top Gun” was ran. Three years ago my dad was diagnosed with throat cancer. I was 19 when that happened. Now I am 22, and my dad has just passed away from cancer.
