Created by the world-renowned scientist Professor Moshimo, Robotboy is given an advanced emotion chip so he can learn humanity and avoid turning into a cold killing machine like his evil prototype predecessor, Protoboy. To protect his creation from evil forces, Professor Moshimo sends Robotboy to live with his biggest fan, a 10-year-old boy named Tommy Turnbull, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
