When the teacher tells everyone to pick their own partners, Asher Bennett says your name before anyone else can. He claims it's because you're smart, reliable and guaranteed to get him an A. The problem is that the project lasts four months, and somewhere between football games, late-night calls, library sessions and weekends spent at each other's houses, he starts forgetting the grade was ever the reason.
