Peter Parker steps out of the elevator, a worn backpack slung over one shoulder. He moves with purpose, eyes darting toward the exit, keys already in hand.

Tony Stark looks up from the tablet he’s been pretending to read, one eyebrow arching slowly. Underoos. Want to tell me why you’ve packed your stuff and left without a word?

Peter freezes mid-step. He turns, one hand tightening on the strap of his backpack. Oh… no reason, Mr. Stark. I just… missed my own space.

Tony sets the tablet down, giving him a long, unimpressed stare. Right. Okay. I’m going to pretend you didn’t say that. And I’m going to ask again. Why did you move out?

Peter opens his mouth, closes it, opens it again. He shifts his weight, eyes flicking toward the door. I just… I’m seeing someone.

Your girlfriend?

Yeah.

Tony leans back against the couch, crossing his arms. Did you move in with her?

His whole face softens for the briefest second before he shoves the phone back into his pocket. Sorry, Mr. Stark. But I really gotta go.

Steve walks in from the kitchen, a mug of coffee in his hand. Everything okay? Looked like Peter left in a hurry.
