[READ THE PREMISE FOR MORE CONTEXT!] Tired of the guys dismissing period cramps as “not that bad,” Class 3-A’s girls bring out a cramp simulator. With Aizawa, Yamada, Toshinori, and the guys as unwilling participants, they’re finally getting a taste of the reality.

The Class 3-A commons had never been this quiet. And this class had survived villains, war, and Mineta's search history. So that was saying something.
Every guy in the room was seated. Not sprawled, not leaning, not gaming. Seated. Like they'd been called to the principal's office. Aizawa sat in the armchair by the window, already zipped into his sleeping bag from the waist down, watching the room like a man who'd been promised a nap and got this instead. Toshinori hovered near the bookshelf in his too-big suit, skeletal hands clasped, trying to look like a neutral party. Yamada leaned against the kitchen counter, arms crossed, sunglasses pushed up into his hair, quietly delighted.
Across from them stood every girl in the class, shoulder to shoulder, arms folded. Matching expressions. The kind of united front that historically preceded somebody getting humbled.
And beside the girls, holding the device, stood Nemuri Kayama | Midnight.
The device looked like a wide belt. Matte black, adjustable straps, a small control panel on the front with a dial and numbers running from one to ten.
Denki Kaminari
leaning over to Sero, whispering Bro. What the hell is that.
Hanta Sero
whispering back I don't know, but every girl in this room is staring at us like we ate the last of the mochi.
Eijiro Kirishima
sitting up straighter, rubbing the back of his neck Okay, so like. Nobody's in trouble, right? This feels like we're in trouble.
Mina Ashido
smiling, sweet as poison You're not in trouble, Kiri. You're in class.
Minoru Mineta
voice cracking Why am I here? I didn't say anything! I didn't say anything about it!
Kyoka Jiro
You said it twice this week.
Minoru Mineta
That's not—
Kyoka Jiro
You said it to Koda, and Koda told me, because Koda is the only man in this building with a conscience.
Koji Koda
small wave Sorry, Mineta.
Aizawa opened one eye from inside the sleeping bag. Closed it again.
Shota Aizawa | EraserHead
Wake me when someone's actually dying.
Momo Yaoyorozu
clearing her throat, stepping forward I'll explain. Since an explanation has apparently been needed for three years and nobody's given one.
gesturing to the belt in Nemuri's hands This is a cramp simulator. It fastens around the waist and reproduces the sensation of menstrual cramping at adjustable intensity. Nemuri-sensei had it developed for pain-simulation training years ago.
Tsuyu Asui
finger to her chin And since we're all future heroes here, kero, we figured you should know what you're rescuing us from.
Mina Ashido
I'm gonna hold your hand while I say this. The average bad day for us is a six.
Ochako Uraraka
And before an exam? Or a rescue op? On the bad days?
holds up eight fingers
Nine.
The room got a whole lot louder in the way of chairs creaking and throats clearing. Across the couch, Katsuki Bakugou hadn't said a word since the girls walked in. He was just watching the belt like it owed him money.
Katsuki Bakugou
flat So you're telling me you've been walking around with a nine going on and still dunked on half the guys in this room during training.
Ochako Uraraka
cheerfully Almost every month!
Katsuki Bakugou
sitting back, arms crossed ...Huh.
Hanta Sero
That's all you've got? Just huh?
Katsuki Bakugou
What do you want me to do, cry about it? I'm not the one getting strapped to the belt.
Every head in the room turned. Slowly. Kirishima's hand went up like he was still in homeroom.
Eijiro Kirishima
Uh. Huh? Wait. Who's wearing it?
Nemuri Kayama | Midnight
grinning, twirling the belt once around her finger Oh, sweetie.
A six. Eight minutes. Whoever taps out first does the girls' dorm cleaning for a month.
Denki Kaminari
A month?
Mashirao Ojiro
quietly I want everyone to know I've never once said it doesn't hurt. I've been neutral my whole life.
Fumikage Tokoyami
Your neutrality will not save you, Ojiro.
Mashirao Ojiro
I know. I just wanted it on the record.
Yamada was now visibly struggling to keep a straight face. Aizawa had not fully opened both eyes this entire time and yet somehow conveyed, through one eyebrow, that he intended to grade this.
Hizashi Yamada | PresentMic
cheerful, zero help So who's up first? Volunteers? No? Anyone? Nobody?
claps once Great! Let's start with the loudest.
Every single eye in the room—student, teacher, and probably the building itself—swung toward Bakugou.
Katsuki Bakugou
not even turning his head I will burn this dorm to the studs.
<Toru Hagakure>: from somewhere near the couch, invisible and smug Nobody said your name, Bakugou.
You were all thinking it!
Denki Kaminari
hand shooting up I'll do it.
Hanta Sero
Denki, no.
Eijiro Kirishima
Denki, bro, you're gonna die.
Denki Kaminari
already standing up Nah, nah, look at me. I've been hit by lightning. I've been through things. A little cramp? Bring it. I'm built different.
Minoru Mineta
whispering He's not built different.
Denki Kaminari
I AM built different!
Kyoka Jiro
deadpan, arms crossed Put it on him.
<Nemuri Kayama | Midnight>: hands him the belt with the warmth of an executioner Number six. Eight minutes. Starting now.
Denki buckled it on. There was a soft electronic click. The room went quiet enough to hear the fridge hum in the kitchen.
Toshinori Yagi | All Might
quietly, to no one I feel I should have brought a chair.
<Toru Hagakure>: still smug, still invisible You're not going anywhere, All Might.
